The Republican Party has rescheduled their public hearings on the initiative to repeal Proposition 4, Utah’s Fair Redistricting Law starting TODAY, NOVEMBER 3 and continuing on November 10.
The initiative process is a constitutional right reserved for the people. It gives citizens a way to hold government accountable when it stops listening. This effort turns that safeguard upside down and takes control away from the voters it was designed to protect.
Hearings will take place for at least one hour and will include one hour of public comment. We encourage you to attend, ask questions if you are interested in learning more, and offer public comment with any concerns you may have.
If you’re frustrated by politicians trying to undo what Utahns already decided, this is the time to say so.
