On Thursday, January 29th, the Washington County Democratic Party will be hosting a Quarterly Meeting and Candidate Meet and Greet. Doors will open at 6 at the Washington Community Center (350 N Community Center Dr., Washington), with the meeting portion of the event starting at 6:15 and the meet and greet starting at approximately 6:45. The meeting will cover planning for County Caucus 2026, County Convention 2026, bylaws revisions, and the staffing of committees. At the Meet and Greet, you’ll get the chance to meet candidates for county, state, and national elected office running as Democrats here in Washington County. Our goal is to help our candidates meet their voters, connect volunteers with campaigns they want to support, and help candidates raise funds for early campaign expenses (websites, yard signs, etc.). Come to help steer the party, and stay to help steer campaigns! And please, invite your friends, colleagues, family, and neighbors. Our party works best when it reaches the most people, and we’ve come to the point where we need to work to bring in more voices.
