Fox13 News St. George Bureau Chief, Chris Reed was fired May 1, 2026. No reason was given by a station spokes person. The last report he filed for the news organization was “ICE arrests surge in Washington County with twenty bookings within 24 hours.”

According to Reed’s Facebook page: “I’m not going to comment further other than (sic) to say I wish all the best to the hard-working team at Fox 13 Utah. And I also can’t thank enough the voices and good people of southwest Utah. It has always been a privilege and an honor to listen to them and tell their stories … and not tell people what to think but what to think about. Always aim for understanding, knowledge and the truth.”
We wish Chris the best and hopes that he lands “up”.
